My wife and I “met” Joyce Sullivan on the internet while searching real estate company listings in Asheville. The first time we spoke, I was candid. We were moving to Asheville from Michigan, but the housing market in Michigan was terrible, and it probably would take several months. She said that was no problem, and continued to stay in touch with us by e-mail and phone; sending us listings from the entire Buncombe County area.
We finally sold our house in Michigan ten months after our initial discussion with Joyce, and then she really began looking for us. Two weeks later, we came to Asheville and Joyce spent three days with us driving us around the area and showing us homes. She listened to what we had to say about each property we saw, heard what we liked and did not like which led her to really narrow our options down.
When we came back for our “final” visit in February, Joyce was able to find us a great buy in a wonderful neighborhood. One year from the day we first contacted Joyce, we closed on our new home in Asheville. Our neighbors are terrific and we enjoy looking at the mountains every day.
Joyce was totally professional in her dealings with us. We know Joyce will be there for us when it comes time to move on from here. Her knowledge of the area is excellent and she tells you everything you need to know to make a good decision.

We're New Yorkers, and had set aside two weeks to look for a (future) retirement dream house in the Asheville area. From the beginning, Joyce was hard working, knowledgeable, straightforward, and most important, a great listener. We looked at at least 40 homes (the process was tiring, but always fun) and finally settled on a beautiful place at the foot of a mountain development with a fish pond and a gorgeous setting.
She handled the contracting, inspections, and paperwork efficiently and quickly, and could always be relied upon to do whatever it took to answer our questions.
